Associate Professor Gary Fryer is the Osteopathy Discipline Group Leader at Victoria University,
Melbourne, Australia. Gary is an experienced practitioner and conference presenter who has been
extensively involved in osteopathic education and research. Gary has authored many journal
articles and book chapters on osteopathic research, muscle energy and evidence-informed practice.

Dr Breno Schor graduated from the University of São Paulo in 1996 as a medical doctor. He went on
to specialise in Orthopedics and Traumatology and Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow IOT HC in
Dr Schor has earned internships in shoulder and elbow surgery at Columbia University (NY – USA), Harvard Medical School (USA) and the Mayo Clinic (MN, USA). He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, the Brazilian Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow and the Brazilian Society of Medicine in Exercise and Sport. He is extensively involved in sports medicine as chief Medical Officer of the Brazilian Judo Confederation, as a doctor of the Brazilian National Artistic Gymnastics and is a medical doctor for the Brazilian Olympic Committee. Dr Schor has authored several peer review research papers in sports medicine and is one of the directors of Vitacare BR.

Rafael Zegarra-Parodi DO (Europe), M Ed, is a Research Assistant Professor at the A.T. Still
Research Institute, A.T. Still University of Health Sciences Missouri, USA, a member of the
International Review Panel of the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine, and a
practicing osteopath in France.
Mr Zegarra-Parodi completed his Diploma in Osteopathy from the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy (1997) in London, has earned a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Tours (2008) in France, and has completed a University Diplomat from the University of Bordeaux 2, in France, in Clinical Research Methodology (2009), in Statistics (2010) and in Epidemiology (2011).
