Christian has been a faculty member at BCOM since 1999 as a senior lecturer, technique tutor and clinic tutor. He delivers the Spinal Mechanics component of the Biomechanics module. He teaches osteopathic technique and osteopathic diagnosis to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years. He supervises the 3rd year cohort in clinic and is a 4th year MCC examiner.
Since 2000 he has been a member of a 5-strong CPD study group of Hertfordshire osteopaths. He spent four years as a volunteer osteopath at the Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted, treating patients in the inpatient unit and outpatients. Patients were suffering life threatening illness at varying stages. Some were at end of life. He worked in a multi disciplinary team including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
