BCOM has an international reputation for academic and research excellence

Fiona Lafferty BA, BSc, DO,ND, M.Ost. Med.

Fiona joined BCOM in August 2021 as a fourth year clinic tutor and teaches osteopathic techniques.

Fiona was a national newspaper and magazine journalist for 20 years before becoming an Osteopath. She has a BA in English and American Studies, BSc in Clinical Studies, a Postgraduate Masters Degree in Osteopathic Medicine, Diplomas in Osteopathy, Naturopathy and Phlebotomy.

In 2008 she worked at the Royal Free Pain Clinic in an honorary capacity in order to advance Osteopathy in the NHS. During the Covid 2020 pandemic she was an NHS Clinical Contract Tracer providing clinical support for those suffering from the virus. In 2021 Fiona became a Clinical Assessor at various central London vaccination centres.

She has her own practice near Hampstead Heath, where she treats patients of all ages,  from newborn babies to the elderly. She is a compassionate, committed osteopath with excellent communication, examination and diagnostic skills.

She is a member of the British Medical Association and The British Medical Acupuncture Society.
