BCOM has an international reputation for academic and research excellence

Alumni

BCOM’s Alumni Association is committed to building relationships with former students and would like to maintain contact with all graduates after they leave the College.

The Alumni Association was launched in 2011 and works to establish and develop the College’s relationship with this far reaching and diverse graduate community. Our members live all over the world, and have a variety of experience in osteopathy, naturopathy and other related healthcare areas.

All BCOM graduates are eligible to sign up to become members of the Alumni Association and membership is free. Members are invited to CPD events, able to ask us to advertise job opportunities to graduates as well as use the college’s library facilities.

As members of the alumni community, you are vital to the continued success of the association as well as the College, and your involvement and support will help to make a difference to the experience of our present and future students, so please stay in touch.

      BCOM 80th Anniversary Alumni Reunion
      Graduates from over the years came to Frazer House to celebrate the college’s 80th anniversary at a special alumni reunion on Saturday 5 November 2016.

      BCOM’s Principal Dr Kerstin Rolfe welcomed alumni members to this special event. The afternoon included talks given by President of the Alumni Association, Leon Chaitow, and Chair of the Osteopathic Sports Care Association (OSCA), Simeon Milton, both graduates of the college. BCOM lecturers Mark Hines and Bianca Serwinski gave talks on their research.

      Alumni members including retired Principal, Dr Ian Drysdale, enjoyed an afternoon of networking with fellow osteopaths and naturopaths, and reminiscing on their days at the college with former classmates and old friends.

      The funds raised from tickets sales for the reunion will go towards BCOM’s Student Hardship Fund, to help our students in financial need.

      BCOM Alumni Reunion Event 2015
      BCOM Graduates from past years enjoyed an afternoon of catching up with old friends and colleagues at the Alumni Reunion on Saturday 26 September.

      There was a great atmosphere throughout the event, where alumni gathered to make connections and reminisce about their time at the college.

      BCOM’s Head of Osteopathy and alumnus of the college Manoj Mehta gave a talk on Osteopathy at the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. Speakers also included BCOM Graduate and lecturer in Nutrition, Antonia Adeniji, Austin Plunkett from NCOR who delivered a talk on the Role of Research in Osteopathy, and Business Coach Gilly Woodhouse who gave a presentation on social media.

  • Alumni Access to the Library and Osteonet
    • How to access the BCOM Library
      All BCOM Alumni who wish to use the College Library must call or email in advance to book their visit.

      You will need to report to Lief House reception and sign in as a visitor. You will then be given   a visitor’s card to gain entry to   the Library. You must return   your visitor’s card to Leif House reception and sign out before you leave the College.

      You must have your visitor’s card with you when using the BCOM Library.

      Alumni can use the library for reference purposes and can photocopy material, but are not able to borrow items or request inter library loans.
