At the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, Open Days are an important and integral part of the admissions process, giving prospective students an excellent opportunity to view the College, discuss the course structure, assess our facilities and talk to students - in short, to see what makes us tick and what differentiates us as a College (parents/partners are welcome to accompany prospective candidates)
On hand to answer questions are members of the Admissions Panel - Principal, Registrar, Head of Osteopathy as well as key members of BCOM Faculty and BCOM students. The Open Day schedule ensures that prospective candidates experience the Frazer House Clinic, an Osteopathic practical class and a research presentation in our Human Performance and Hydrotherapy Laboratory.
Open Days are offered in January, February and March to allow prospective candidates a choice of dates to visit the College before making their institution/course choice through UCAS. This requires careful planning particularly in respect of the busy clinic operation where we need to be empathetic towards patient and practitioner. The Open Days will be held on the dates shown below between 1pm and 4.30pm.
Thursday, 19th January 2012
Thursday, 23rd February 2012
Thursday, 8th March 2012
Thursday, 22nd March 2012
If you would like to attend our Open Day, please contact Jenny Harrison, Assistant to the Registrar, at registry@bcom.ac.uk or 0207 435 6464.
We very much hope that you will be able to visit us at the College. Feedback from students attending earlier events was that they found the afternoon informative and extremely useful in their overall decision making.
